Kenner Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Hosts Community Wellness and Fellowship Event at Metairie Manor
September 15, 2026 — The Kenner (LA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. successfully hosted a community service event at Metairie Manor, bringing together fraternity brothers and senior residents for a morning focused on wellness, fellowship, and service. The event, hosted by the Spring ’26 Initiates, reflected the fraternity’s commitment to community engagement and compassionate outreach. Residents participated in educational discussions covering medication compliance and safety, fall prevention, and general health and wellness awareness. The gathering also included bingo and other social activities designed to encourage interaction, connection, and enjoyment among attendees. In addition to sharing valuable wellness information, the brothers provided refreshments and fostered an atmosphere of warmth, support, and camaraderie.
